I created Hommie because I want to show off some great items which I have brought for my own personal home which have received great comments from family and friends. The first 3 products I have introduced into my Hommie are, the Dolly The Dachshund Wine Bottle Holder, Turn Me On Tom Lamp and Freddie the 3D Bear Lamp.

As an pet owner to 2 Dachshunds, Dolly and Geoffrey, I have lots of Dachshund figures in my home and when I was gifted an expensive bottle of wine from a friend, I wanted something spectacular to showcase it, that's when the Dolly The Dachshund Wine Bottle Holder was born.

Turn Me On Tom was an idea which came to life one evening when I was working from home. I was working late and I wanted a lamp that was small enough to sit on my desk and one which amused me whilst I worked. The comical side to the lamps design was inspired by my husband Tom.

Freddie the firework bear lamp, was created by my two children Isla and Luis. We were watching for the first time the New Years Eve fireworks down by Torrens River in Adelaide, South Australia and my children were very impressed. They couldn't stop talking about the pretty colours, patterns and noises all week. Asking repeatedly, when could they see some more. With the help of some very clever people, we created Freddie so that the kids could watch fireworks every night before bed.

We are still a small business so every order counts, and I have been blown away by the support we have received so far. I started Hommie as I thought these products were great and can be used in any home.
